Lights On Afterschool is the only nationwide event celebrating out-of-school-time programs and their important role in the lives of children, families and communities. The effort has become a hallmark of the afterschool movement and generates media coverage across the country each year. In Florida, we are we are working with local leaders to “Light Up Local Landmarks” across Florida, pass local resolutions, and share out on social media our commitment to shone a light on the millions more kids who need access to quality afterschool programs.
