Thousands of youth ages 6 to 18 depend on the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County to provide them with enriching educational, developmental and recreational programs each year. While our programs are designed to help each Club member excel in school, become leaders, practice healthy habits and plan for success after high school graduation, it is truly the commitment of our remarkable staff members that ensures the youth we serve are on track to achieve their full potential. Congratulations to the following staff members for being recognized as Staff of the Month:

  • Rachel Alexander is a counselor at the Gene Matthews Boys & Girls Club and is always planning a new, educational activity for Club members. Recently, Rachel coordinated a field trip for the Torch Club members to learn all about 3D printing. She has also inspired the Club members to keep the Club clean both inside and outside, and leads Club clean-up days.
