Austin Boyd was recently elected to the Board of Directors for the Florida Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs. Boyd is President and CEO of Boyd Insurance & Investments in Bradenton, where he represents the third generation of leadership for the family-owned firm that has served Florida's Gulf Coast for more than 50 years.
A fifth-generation Manatee County resident, Boyd brings a strong background in business leadership, risk management, and community service to the Alliance Board. He earned a bachelor's degree in Risk Management & Insurance from Florida State University and holds the Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) designation. His commitment to the Boys & Girls Club Movement is already well established through his leadership with Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County, where he previously served as Chair of the Corporate Board of Directors and currently serves as Chair of the Foundation Board.
“Austin brings a valuable combination of business leadership, community commitment, and firsthand understanding of the Boys & Girls Club mission,” said Joe Davis, Executive Director of the Florida Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs. “His longstanding connection to the Movement and deep roots in his community will bring an important perspective to our statewide work, and we’re excited to welcome him to the Board.”
Boyd joins a statewide Board of Directors united in its mission to support and elevate Florida's Boys & Girls Clubs through advocacy, resource development, and community partnerships.
